Exponent is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop sheet-metal components and packaging for its e^pump charging station. The role covers structural and thermal design, weight and volume optimization, IP sealing, DFM/DFA, calculations, tolerance analysis, testing, root-cause analysis, and documentation from concept through production stabilization. Candidates should have at least five years of experience and expertise in structural design, thermal systems, electro-mechanical packaging, fluid systems, heat transfer, refrigeration, materials, and product development.
