Intuitive is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and transfer complex mechanical and electromechanical subsystems for robotic surgical platforms. The role owns subsystems from concept through production, performs mechanical analysis, develops CAD and PLM documentation, builds and tests prototypes, coordinates with suppliers and manufacturing, and leads cross-functional engineering activities. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, substantial related experience, and medical-device development expertise. The position is based in Sunnyvale, California, with at least four days on-site per week.
