Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will drive early-stage design concepts and independently lead the design of test equipment and fixtures through detailed design, bring-up, qualification, and mass production. The role also involves leading design reviews with contract manufacturers, researching technologies and materials, and collaborating with other groups. Candidates need a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or higher, at least five years of classical mechanical design experience, knowledge of automation and machining or sheet-metal design, static analysis and simulation skills, CAD proficiency, and strong communication abilities.
