PsiQuantum is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design complex optomechanical and optoelectronic packages for photonics systems. The role owns package and subassembly designs from prototype through production readiness and requires expertise in precision mechanical design, GD&T, tolerance analysis, fixture and test-set design, process documentation, supplier coordination, and manufacturing-scale productization. Candidates need a master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline and at least five years of experience in optomechanical, optoelectronic, photonics, or precision mechanical systems. The position offers full-time status, equity, benefits, and base salary ranging from $117,500 to $197,200 USD depending on the applicable geographic zone.
