Description
Tesla is hiring mechanical engineers for its drive-unit development team to design and 3D-model mechanical components and assemblies, solve packaging and thermal-management challenges, create manufacturing drawings, assist with prototype builds, and collaborate with cross-functional teams through prototype development to mass production. The role requires a relevant mechanical engineering degree, strong mechanical fundamentals, experience with motor/gearbox systems, CAD and ANSYS proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and hands-on prototype testing; automotive NVH, EMI, high-voltage, manufacturing, PLM, and reliability experience are preferred.
