Description
STACK Infrastructure is hiring a full-time Senior Mechanical Design Manager in the United Kingdom to serve as the senior mechanical technical authority for its EMEA design and engineering function. The role owns the European Reference Design, cooling strategy, plant standards, thermal performance, energy efficiency, modular building blocks, and mechanical governance across data centre projects. Responsibilities include reviewing consultant designs, approving deviations, supporting regional design and delivery teams, advising on client specifications, monitoring emerging cooling technologies, and contributing to sustainability and commercial decisions. The position requires significant mechanical engineering experience in mission-critical or hyperscale data centre environments, expertise in cooling systems and thermal modelling, and a degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.
