Description
Mazzetti is hiring a Senior Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and mechanical building-system design for complex healthcare, science and technology, infrastructure, and commercial projects. The role covers advanced engineering analysis, calculations, equipment selection, specifications, construction documents, code compliance, multidisciplinary coordination, project delivery, client support, construction administration, and mentorship. It is a hybrid position based in Hawaii, ideally Honolulu, with approximately 10–20% travel primarily within Hawaii and occasional domestic travel. The position requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and at least 8 years of mechanical engineering or design experience in the AEC consulting industry; healthcare design experience is preferred. Compensation is $108,000–$200,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, life insurance, and other benefits.
