Description
Mazzetti is hiring a Senior Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Northern California team, based in San Francisco or Sacramento. The role leads HVAC and mechanical building-system design and documentation for complex healthcare, science and technology, infrastructure, and commercial projects; performs engineering analyses and calculations; reviews drawings and specifications; supports project delivery, client presentations, construction administration, and multidisciplinary coordination; and mentors junior engineers. The position is primarily hybrid, with client-site visits throughout Northern California and approximately 10–15% travel. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and at least 8 years of AEC consulting experience are required, while healthcare, HCAI, and California PE experience are preferred. Compensation is $100,000–$211,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and other benefits.
