Description
Philips is seeking a Senior Mechanical Development Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of handheld medical and consumer electronic devices from concept through mass production. The role owns mechanical architecture, 3D CAD design, tolerance analysis, plastic and metal parts, DFM/DFA, thermal and environmental robustness, verification testing, failure analysis, tooling, trial builds, and production ramp-up, while collaborating with electronics, firmware, industrial design, and quality teams. Candidates need a mechanical, mechatronics, or manufacturing engineering degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience, electro-mechanical product development expertise, technical leadership, CAD experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
