Description
The client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and integration of modular generator systems for backup power, data centers, industrial facilities, microgrids, and mission-critical applications. The role includes designing generator enclosures, equipment skids, structural frames, ventilation and cooling systems, exhaust systems, and service-access layouts; performing structural, airflow, CFD, and thermal analyses; coordinating with electrical and manufacturing teams; supporting prototypes and testing; and investigating vibration, structural, and thermal issues. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 7 years of relevant industrial equipment or power-systems design experience, strong structural steel and heavy-equipment packaging experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and industrial airflow, cooling, or thermal-analysis experience are required.
