Description
AECOM is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Water Team in a Scotland office. The role covers feasibility studies, outline and detailed design, construction support, plant layouts, mechanical plant selection, specifications, valve and equipment schedules, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, site surveys, client and contractor liaison, design reviews, and checking of mechanical deliverables. The engineer will also line manage and mentor junior and graduate mechanical engineers. The position offers hybrid working, including work-from-home days, and requires a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, progress toward Chartered Engineer status, and hands-on experience with water and wastewater engineering projects.
