AECOM is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support international and UK-based nuclear projects across the project lifecycle, from client consultancy and design through commissioning and project review. The role involves overseeing engineering design and project activities, mentoring junior engineers, producing 3D CAD models and manufacturing documentation, handling fissile materials, managing project timelines and scope changes, and contributing to HSE and QA activities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, CEng or CEng-in-progress status, significant mechanical engineering experience, complex project delivery experience, knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, and strong communication skills. The position offers hybrid working and requires UK security clearance for full-range clearance projects.
