Description
AECOM is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support international and UK-based nuclear projects across the project lifecycle, from client consultancy and design through commissioning and project review. The role leads mechanical design, 3D CAD modelling, functional calculations, manufacturing documentation, project delivery, junior-team mentoring, HSE and QA activities, and collaboration with project managers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, CEng or CEng-in-progress status, significant mechanical-engineering experience, complex-project delivery experience, sector-standard knowledge, and strong communication skills. The position offers hybrid working and requires UK security clearance for full-range clearance projects.
