AECOM is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Buildings + Places team in Calgary to lead mechanical engineering for high-profile data center projects. The role is client-facing and hands-on, covering HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, system design, redundancy, load calculations, energy efficiency, air quality, construction support, commissioning, and coordination with other engineering disciplines. It offers a partially remote schedule requiring at least three days per week in the Calgary office, with occasional advance-scheduled travel. The position requires a bachelor's degree and six years of relevant design experience or equivalent education/experience, plus an APEGA Professional Engineer license; Canadian employment authorization sponsorship is not available.
