Description
AECOM is hiring a senior mechanical engineer to lead complex mechanical engineering scopes for underground copper and gold hard-rock mining projects. The role covers materials handling, conveyor and bulk-solids systems, crushing, screening, pumping, dewatering, ventilation, fixed plant, and integrated design through commissioning and operational readiness. The engineer will perform technical reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and liaise with clients, vendors, project managers, and site personnel. The position requires a recognized Australian Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, CPEng or working toward chartership, and 8–12 years of mechanical engineering experience, with hybrid work options.
