Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is hiring an Engineer in Derby to support the design, manufacturing, and service lifecycle of engineered components in nuclear and defence projects. The role involves reviewing engineering standards and design intent, using CAD and analysis tools such as ANSYS or ABAQUS, managing model-based design and drawing standards, supporting manufacturing buy-off and inspection, and collaborating with design, manufacturing, and project teams. Candidates should have senior or principal mechanical engineering experience in a nuclear, aerospace, or regulated sector, along with knowledge of ASME Y14.5, GD&T, manufacturing processes, PLM systems, and safety legislation.
