Description
Assystem is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit, reporting to the Turbine Island Lead. The role develops and reviews turbine-island designs, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, layouts, sizing calculations, datasheets, specifications, optioneering studies, and systems-engineering requirements; integrates the turbine island into the wider power plant; supports design reviews, safety licensing, environmental planning, and stakeholder activities; and ensures compliance with health and safety and quality systems. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma in engineering, CEng or working towards it, nuclear or thermal-power experience, and SC clearance or the ability to achieve it, with hybrid work of 1–2 remote days per week.
