Description
Assystem is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear for its Derby site to support a growing account and increased workload. The role involves identifying and solving engineering problems, evaluating product performance, reliability, and safety, modifying designs, estimating project budget and scope, managing risk, preparing documentation, and engaging in continuous learning. Candidates need at least five years of nuclear-sector experience, knowledge of mechanical design and nuclear safety, experience with technical document authoring, familiarity with PLM systems and engineering analysis tools, and a BEng or similar engineering qualification. The position is permanent or contract and may be subject to security and export control restrictions.
