Description
Assystem is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit, reporting to the Turbine Island Lead. The role develops and reviews turbine-island designs, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, layouts, sizing calculations, datasheets, specifications, optioneering studies, and systems-engineering requirements; integrates the turbine island into the wider power plant; supports design reviews, safety licensing, environmental planning, and stakeholder activities; and ensures compliance with health and safety and quality systems. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma in engineering, CEng or working towards it, SC clearance or the ability to achieve it, and experience in nuclear, thermal power, oil and gas, or other regulated sectors.
