Description
Egis is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, review, and execution of HVAC systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The role covers chilled-water, VRF/VRV, DX, ventilation, smoke extraction, cooling-load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing, pump-head calculations, vendor design incorporation, technical bid evaluation, and coordination with architecture, structure, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and BIM teams. The engineer must apply international and UAE local authority regulations, including ASHRAE, NFPA, UAE FLS, SBC, and DEWA requirements, and lead the project independently while supporting junior engineers.
