Description
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will own the full mechanical R&D lifecycle for Fleetzero battery modules, from clean-sheet concept through first-article prototypes, development testing, design validation, and high-volume manufacturing. The role involves hands-on prototype fabrication, experimental testing, enclosure and thermal-management design, FEA and CFD analysis, manufacturing design-for-manufacture collaboration, and release of engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOMs in Solidworks PDM. Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, at least five years of product-development experience, strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, and mechatronics, expert Solidworks proficiency, and experience with FEA and CFD tools.
