IMEG is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Kansas City, Missouri, to lead complex vertical-building projects as a project manager or lead engineer. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system analysis, design, specifications, calculations, site assessments, technical reporting, quality control, implementation oversight, client communication, mentoring, safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, a Professional Engineer license, at least 10 years of building design consulting experience, advanced mechanical engineering knowledge, leadership and client-development skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position requires up to 20% travel and does not offer visa sponsorship.
