Description
Mission Control is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical, structural, and thermal design and analysis for autonomous and robotic space systems. The role covers the full engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, trade studies, detailed design, manufacturing, integration, qualification testing, troubleshooting, supplier oversight, and technical leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 8–12+ years of progressive aerospace or space systems experience, flight-ready hardware delivery, advanced FEA proficiency, and environmental testing expertise. The position may be based in Ottawa or St. Mary’s, Ontario, with Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required due to security clearance needs.
