Description
Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Stennis Test team. This role involves designing, fabricating, and modifying propulsion and stage test stands for the Terran 1 and Terran R engines. The successful candidate will supervise construction and operation of these facilities, solve technical problems, support ongoing operations, and contribute to the overall success of the Terran R program. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, extensive experience in propulsion or structural testing, proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting, and hands-on fabrication experience. Occasional night shifts and a valid driver's license are also required due to the nature of on-site work at the government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi.
