Description
Seasats is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer in San Diego to design and build mechanical systems for unmanned surface vessels, including parts, assemblies, CAD models, fixtures, tooling, BOMs, supplier coordination, testing, and production-process improvements. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, shaping engineering processes, and working with mechanical and vehicle design leadership. Candidates need at least five years of experience with high-performance or high-volume parts, SolidWorks expertise, maritime and mechanical-engineering experience, and knowledge of fabrication, GD&T, and electro-mechanical systems. The position offers $120,000–$160,000 annually plus stock options, 401(k) matching, insurance, and other benefits, and does not offer employment visa sponsorship.
