Description
Simplexity is hiring a hands-on senior mechanical engineer to work embedded with a client’s robotics product team at a client site in Bellevue, Washington. The role focuses on reviewing and optimizing actuator designs for manufacturing, cost, assembly, reliability, and performance; performing structural finite element analysis; developing tests and diagnosing failures; presenting design tradeoffs to client stakeholders; coordinating with suppliers and contract manufacturers; and maintaining drawings and bills of materials. The position requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least eight years of applicable experience including two years of FEA, strong CAD and manufacturing knowledge, and full-time on-site work.
