Thales is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering Support Team for the Scylla In-Service Support contract, specifically focused on Collins Class submarines. This role involves maintaining and supporting Scylla sonars, primarily the towed array, and potentially contributing to component design for support equipment or test fixtures. The position is located in Rydalmere and may require extended hours and travel.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or supporting high-quality technical systems.

Experience with obsolescence treatment processes and LEAN or continuous improvement.
Knowledge of defence environment and military documentation standards.
