Description
Varex Imaging is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the end-to-end design and production transfer of complex rugged enclosures and housings for diagnostic medical devices. The role covers requirements interpretation, prototyping, multidisciplinary design reviews, vendor collaboration for design-for-manufacturing and cost optimization, prototype builds, and transfer to domestic and international production sites. It requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of related experience, advanced SolidWorks and manufacturing-process knowledge, and understanding of GD&T and product considerations such as thermal performance, EMI, ingress protection, ergonomics, and aesthetics.
