Description
Velo3D is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development and improvement of additive manufacturing processes, products, and capital equipment. The role involves designing and testing mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems; performing GD&T and system-level validation; documenting designs; coordinating fabrication and installation; and managing projects from concept through production. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least 8 years of mechanical systems design and development experience, 5+ years of CAD experience, and experience with manufacturing systems for industrial capital equipment. The position offers a U.S. base salary of $145,000 to $170,000, healthcare coverage, and 401(k) employer contributions.
