Description
Mainspring Energy is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer focused on mechanical design to lead product improvement across field and production systems. The role works on-site at a contract manufacturer, conducting root-cause analysis of mechanical failures, redesigning components and assemblies, supporting manufacturing and pilot efforts, and developing service tooling and diagnostic aids. The engineer will collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, NPI, supply chain, and field-service teams and travel to Mainspring’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California, once per quarter. The position requires a bachelor’s degree plus six years of experience or a master’s degree plus five years of experience, along with mechanical design, root-cause analysis, DFM/DFA, tolerance stack-up, and CAD skills.
