Description
Bantrel is hiring a part-time flexible on-call Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Energy team. The role is based in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, or Toronto, with the option to work 100% remotely within Canada. Responsibilities include reviewing LNG tank specifications and data sheets, leading LNG tank design and evaluation, coordinating with technical personnel, reviewing manufacturer and subcontractor design documents, and applying relevant engineering standards. Candidates must hold a recognized mechanical engineering degree, be registered as a Professional Engineer, and have 10 to 15 years of relevant LNG storage tank design experience; LNG pressure equipment or operating plant experience is an asset.
