BYD Automotive GmbH is hiring a Senior Mechanical Simulation Engineer in Stuttgart, Germany, to lead structural and durability simulations for battery pack housing, frames, and vehicle assemblies. The role covers static and nonlinear analysis, joint modeling, modal and fatigue assessments, crash simulations, cell-level failure analysis, LS-DYNA modeling, thermal and cooling-plate deformation analysis, simulation-test correlation, model calibration, and design recommendations. The engineer will also explain solutions to clients and manage projects, with a minimum of five years of structural simulation experience and proficiency in at least two CAE tools.
