Description
Ginkgo is hiring a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of mechatronics infrastructure for laboratory and industrial automation. The role owns end-to-end SolidWorks mechanical design, robot trajectory programming and optimization, PLC and control-system integration, vendor and assembly-vendor management, documentation and BOM control, and technical guidance for junior engineers. Candidates need a BS or MS in a relevant engineering field, at least five years of relevant industry experience, advanced SolidWorks proficiency, robotics and motion-control experience, and familiarity with laboratory automation, fabrication, wiring, and PLCs.
