The Senior Medical Editor reviews and edits scientific and promotional medical content for accuracy, compliance, style, and consistency; verifies references and citations; performs final quality control; supports editorial processes; and mentors junior editors. The role requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field, at least five years of medical or pharmaceutical editing experience, knowledge of AMA style and industry regulations, and familiarity with digital and print content workflows. The position may be performed remotely within the United States, with a base salary of $70,000 to $100,000 for the New York City metropolitan area.
