Description
The Senior Metrology Engineer will own measurement and inspection for precision machined hardware, including in-house and outsourced components. The role develops inspection plans and sampling strategies, programs and operates CMMs, defines tight-tolerance measurement methods, reviews engineering drawings for GD&T and manufacturability issues, provides inspection and process-quality guidance to machining and mechanical engineering teams, documents non-conformances, and leads root-cause analysis. The position also establishes machining-focused quality processes and coordinates with the broader Quality organization.
