Eon is hiring a Senior Microscope Engineer to design, build, validate, and scale custom high-throughput optical microscopes for imaging expanded brain tissue. The role covers instrument design, optomechanical and optical integration, microscope operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, documentation, and replication into a small fleet. Candidates need at least five years of experience building optical microscopy instruments, including one end-to-end high-throughput microscope, along with optical alignment, instrumentation control, automation, and image-processing skills. The position offers a base salary of $140,000–$200,000 plus equity and benefits.
