Intel is hiring a Senior Middleware Development Engineer for its communication runtimes team to develop and optimize software features for Intel SHMEM, Intel MPI, MPICH, and Intel oneCCL. The role involves collaborating with scientists and engineers at Argonne National Labs, working with data-center Intel GPUs and CPUs, and improving scientific computing and machine learning performance. It requires a master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, at least five years of software development experience, five years of Linux development experience, five years of C and C++ experience, multithreaded programming experience, and experience with distributed computing, HPC or collective communications libraries, GPU software, or network communications stacks. The position is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Austin, Texas, with an annual salary range of $149,600 to $284,580 USD.
