Description

The Mine Engineer plans, designs, develops, and optimizes mining operations, providing technical leadership for mine planning, production scheduling, drilling and blasting, ore control, and continuous improvement. The role coordinates with operations, geology, maintenance, environmental, and safety teams; leads short-range mine design projects; ensures MSHA and environmental compliance; analyzes geotechnical and geological data; estimates equipment and production requirements; and prepares technical reports. A bachelor's degree in mining engineering or a related discipline and at least five years of progressive mining engineering experience are required, with hard-rock open-pit mining and major project leadership experience preferred.
