Glencore is hiring a Senior Mining Engineer – Long Term Planning for its Hail Creek Open Cut operation. The role leads long-term mine planning, life-of-mine and five-year budget planning, pit-shell design, production scheduling, landform and rehabilitation planning, risk assessment, scenario analysis, and compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety standards. The position requires a mining engineering degree, at least five years of open-cut coal mine planning experience, proficiency with mine planning software, and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills; leadership and mentoring experience is a plus.
