Scale is hiring a hybrid customer-facing engineering professional to work with U.S. government customers on the Public Sector Engineering team. The role owns software delivery from prototype through production, builds backend systems and data integrations, partners with product and engineering, and serves as the technical point of contact for customer stakeholders. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, strong Python and TypeScript production coding, cloud and infrastructure knowledge, and an active TS/SCI clearance. The position requires significant on-site customer work and travel, with relocation options in Washington DC or St. Louis, and offers base salaries of $223,200–$279,000 USD in Washington DC/Hawaii or $186,000–$233,000 USD in St. Louis/Suffolk.
