Typeface is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and scale machine learning and generative AI systems, including models for text, image, audio, and video content. The role owns the roadmap and delivery of product and technology initiatives, manages model training, fine-tuning, testing, and large-scale operations, and collaborates with designers, product managers, and engineers. It requires a master’s or PhD in computer science or a related field, at least five years of experience scaling machine learning systems, Python and C/C++ proficiency, and experience with AzureML, GCP Vertex, AWS Sagemaker, or similar platforms. The position is hybrid in Palo Alto, with in-office collaboration three days per week, and offers a base salary of $188,000-$200,000 plus equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
