Description
Chef Robotics is hiring a Senior ML Engineer, Foundation Models to develop and deploy a Food Foundation Model for large-scale robot learning. The role involves defining model architectures and training objectives, evaluating foundation-model approaches, building pre-training, fine-tuning, and alignment pipelines, developing real-world generalization and reliability evaluations, and collaborating with data and platform teams. The position requires an MS or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least five years of robotics ML deployment experience, large-scale model training expertise, PyTorch and Python skills, and a track record of deploying models on physical hardware. The role is onsite five days per week and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
