Apple is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Intelligence Platform team to design and build systems and APIs that support machine learning, large language models, and generative AI across Apple’s operating systems. The role involves collaborating with teams on model training, qualification, deployment, and serving; adapting model architectures to execution environments; and defining policy with leadership. The position requires strong software design, debugging, machine-learning-platform, LLM, generative-model, multi-threaded programming, and synchronization expertise, with production feature-engineering, distributed-data-systems, and macOS/iOS experience preferred.
