Description

The role is responsible for building, integrating, deploying, and operating AWS-hosted chatbot and orchestration services connected to Databricks, enterprise documents, vector stores, and websites. It requires 9+ years of experience across MLOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or production AI application development, along with hands-on AWS, Python, containerization, Databricks, API, RAG, security, CI/CD, observability, and production troubleshooting experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with the War Data Platform, AWS GovCloud, Databricks Genie, Unity Catalog, chatbot widgets, and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 9+ years of experience in MLOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or production AI application development
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML applications using AWS services
Experience containerizing Python applications and APIs with Docker and deploying them to ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes
Experience integrating applications with Databricks REST APIs
Experience building API-based chatbot or agent-orchestration services with Python and LangChain or LangGraph
Experience implementing structured-data, RAG, and hybrid question-answering routing
Experience connecting AI applications to vector stores
Experience developing document-ingestion pipelines for enterprise knowledge sources
Experience implementing secure token handling, OAuth/OIDC, service-principal authentication, secrets management, IAM, and session management
Experience creating CI/CD pipelines for containerized AI applications
Experience load-testing and scaling chatbot or model-enabled applications
Experience implementing production observability
Preferred Qualifications: Experience deploying applications within the War Data Platform or integrating with WDP-hosted Databricks services
Experience supporting AWS GovCloud, DoD IL4/IL5, CUI, or other highly regulated environments
Experience with Databricks Genie, Unity Catalog, Databricks Vector Search/AI Search, and user-level OAuth integrations
Experience integrating reusable chatbot widgets or APIs into enterprise websites
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Helm, Kubernetes, and Git-based CI/CD platforms
