Description

Platform45 is hiring a full-time Senior Mobile Developer (Android) to lead the design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, and performance optimization of scalable Android applications. The role includes technical leadership, solution architecture, code review, client collaboration, mentoring, and publishing apps to the Google Play Store. Candidates need at least seven years of Android application development experience, strong Kotlin and Java expertise, knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack, RESTful API and WebSocket experience, and familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or provable self-taught development skills with a good understanding of how systems work.
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of Android application development experience, including delivering high-quality apps to the Google Play Store.
Experience with advanced Android components and frameworks, including Jetpack and dependency injection tools.
Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and security best practices in Android development.
Experience publishing and maintaining Android apps in the Google Play Store, including versioning, A/B testing, and app reviews.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with React Native or Flutter.
Experience working within a high-growth tech startup.
