Description
Zipline is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Autonomy Motion Planning team to develop real-time trajectory generation and decision-making systems for autonomous drone flight. The role involves joint optimization across safety, energy, time, and reliability; planning in uncertain environments; safety-critical obstacle-avoidance software; extending autonomy interfaces; and validating systems through simulation, SIL/HIL, log replay, and fault injection. Candidates need a master's degree in computer science or a related field, at least three years of experience building software for safety-critical systems, and strong Rust/C++/C, planning, optimization, and embedded software skills. The starting cash range is $190,000 to $230,000, with potential equity, bonuses, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
