Kodiak Robotics is hiring a senior individual contributor to lead the architecture and technical direction of GigaFusionNet, a multimodal transformer that fuses camera, LiDAR, and radar data. The role owns the architecture roadmap, research direction, experiment design, implementation, production deployment, scalable training pipelines, and model alignment with system-level latency and compute budgets, while mentoring engineers and partnering with perception, planning, and infrastructure teams. Candidates should have a PhD with 5+ years of industry experience or an MS/BS with 8+ years, along with expertise in transformers, cross-modal attention, token fusion, Python, and PyTorch. The position is based in Mountain View, California, with a base salary of $230,000–$300,000 USD and potential visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
