Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Naval Architect to join their Whole Boat Design team. The successful candidate will conduct analyses and evaluations of submarine platform performance, developing and validating mathematical manoeuvring models using physical model test data. This role involves collaboration with enterprise partners, naval architect teams, and customers to deliver innovative submarine solutions, supporting sea trials. The position requires prior experience in stability or manoeuvring modeling, a strong understanding of hydrostatic/hydrodynamic principles, and familiarity with design standards and CAD software.
