The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is hiring a senior network infrastructure professional to design, operate, secure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, and intranet environments supporting two data centers and remote sites. The role focuses heavily on Cisco routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN, ISE, DNS/DHCP, network monitoring, documentation, compliance with CJIS standards, technology roadmaps, disaster recovery planning, and mentorship, with rotating on-call responsibilities. Candidates need a high school diploma/GED plus seven years of relevant experience, an associate degree plus six years, a bachelor's or higher in a related technical field plus five years, or four years in the Sheriff's Office Information Services Division; attendance at the assigned work location is required.
