Oracle is hiring a Network Region Build Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale global cloud networks for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure regions and child sites. The role covers network architecture, data center fabrics, edge and backbone networks, fiber metro networks, multi-cloud initiatives, build-phase operations, network changes, automation, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, vendor coordination, and technical leadership. Candidates need experience in large ISP or cloud provider environments, commodity Ethernet hardware, routing and transport protocols, Internet peering, VPN/SSL technologies, scripting or Python automation, and network design. The US hiring range is $91,400 to $187,000 per annum, with possible bonus and equity.
